Why Go Solar?
Why Now?
|
Eskom has recently announced extremely high rebates on solar water heating systems, these rebates, initially introduced to stimulate growth, will reduce over time as solar water heating becomes more common. Another important fact to consider is the huge increases in Eskom’s electricity prices. NERSA (National Energy Regulator of South Africa) has approved a minimum increase of 25% per annum until at least 2012. A conventional geyser is usually the biggest contributor to the average household’s electricity bill. You can eliminate 70-80% of this consumption by going solar. |
